Dean is the company founder and CEO. A 20 year B2B technology veteran, he’s responsible for executing the company’s vision, building company culture, overseeing business operations, and forging strong relationships with employees, customers, and partners.
Before Vertify, Dean co-founded Xolved, a systems integrator in the NetSuite ecosystem. Prior to scratching his entrepreneurial itch, Dean was an early member of NetSuite where he helped transition the company from targeting small businesses to mid-market enterprises. Before that, he held various sales and marketing positions at SkillSoft and CMGI.
Dean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and MIS from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. A big Red Sox fan and movie buff, he lives in Austin, Texas with his beautiful wife, ridiculously cute kids, and their many plants.
Jim is in charge of our expanding engineering team. He has 25 years experience developing complex software solutions and solving problems for commercial companies, state governments, and the DOD.
Prior to working at Vertify, he proudly worked for CACI managing a software development effort to help manage the Army’s digital battlefield initialization from Ft. Hood, Texas. And before that worked on configuration management software for the Defense Information Systems Agency at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex in Montgomery, AL.
Matt brings to Vertify 13+ years of B2B marketing and sales experience. As VP of Marketing & Sales, he’s responsible for building the customer machine. He oversees all marketing strategy and management of the sales organization.
Before Vertify, Matt built the media technology marketing practice at RSG Media in New York City. Prior to jumping head first into technology, Matt had the privilege of building his marketing and sales expertise at the NBA, CBRE, and IKON, to name a few.
Matt holds a Masters Degree from the University of Oklahoma and a BM degree from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. An avid golfer, lover of the Houston Astros, and an accomplished professional opera singer, he is excited to call Austin home with his loving wife, and their beautiful baby boy.
Wayne’s role as VP of Product Management makes him responsible for product, development and go-to-market strategies. His experience includes launching solutions focused on data analysis, data insights and data management as part of overall product delivery platforms.
In his previous life, Wayne was responsible for pioneering the development of packaged CRM and BI applications as a technology consultant for PwC, IBM, and CapGemini. Following his consulting work, he served as Sr. Product Manager, Director of App Dev and VP of Product and Technology leading organizations for a variety of SaaS startups. He has been a major contributor to the growth of high–performance companies including Manheim’s OVE.com, Insperity’s ExpensAble and most recently at TrendKite where he led the data analytics team and launched major components of their data asset platform.
Wayne holds an MBA from The Kogod School of Business at American University and a BS from Xavier University. Originally from New Orleans, he is a lover of all things purple, green and gold, jazz, Saints and Pelicans. He is an active advisor to multiple minority-led founders in the startup community and enjoys calling Austin home with his wife, 2 kids, dog, and rabbit.
At Vertify Edward is tasked with refining and defining our future technology architecture. Edward’s 25+ year career spans high level technology positions for Fortune 100 companies such as VISA, Verizon, Blockbuster, and Credit Suisse, working with some of the brightest minds in the profession.
For the last 10 years he’s been focused on startups. This new found focus helped sharpen his business acumen and piqued his entrepreneurial spirit. Edward coded and designed numerous data-focused systems that were influenced by his experience in high volume environments. One of which has resulted in a provisional patent filing on behalf of University of Texas System.
Edward is an avid semi-professional guitar player. He has also invented a system for controlling the tone of stringed instruments and was awarded United States Patent # 9,502,009 B1, for this invention. It is currently in use by such artists as Gary Clark Band, Danny Mayer, Anthony Ray Wright, and Midland. He calls Austin home with his lovely wife Katie and son Michael.
Art’s in charge of coming up with ridiculously simple solutions for outrageously complicated problems. A technology whiz, Art has been developing and architecting for almost 20 years.
Prior to Vertify, he worked for Cimple Systems developing and enhancing enterprise student information systems and data warehouses. He also managed networks and servers, provided technical support, and integrated complex systems in public schools.
Art holds a Masters of Information Systems in Public Policy and Management and a BS in Information and Decision Systems with a Minor in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. He lives in Austin, TX with his wife and two children.
